This Double IPA has notes of delicate lychee, tart cherry, spice, smoke & vanilla. Aged in Chicken Cock Bourbon barrels in September of 2021. Bottle only.

 

BEER FACT

The summer of 2021 saw great Lychee harvest in Florida, which we were lucky enough to get from Roland Samimy of JLS Lychee Farms in Redlands South Florida. The sweet, floral aroma and delicate lychee flavor we felt was best complimented by combining whole cherries and Brettanomyces lambicus. Over time this yeast strain develops a tart cherry like aroma and flavor, smokey notes, and some spice character. Additional yeast and sugar were added at bottling to facilitate a round of secondary fermentation and carbonation in the bottle. For a richer, fruitier experience swirl the bottle to stir up the sediment on the bottom.
