A crisp and delicate Helles-style lager brewed with a touch of Florida orange blossom honey for a smooth, floral finish that captures sunshine in a glass.

NAME

The name is more a reference to our love for lagers and brewing with honey.  Two gallons of Florida Orange Blossom honey went into this batch.

 

BEER FACT

“Helles” means “pale in color,” as these beers are often golden. The German-style helles lager is a bit rounder or fuller-bodied than light lager and even all-malt pilsners. Helles lager beers offer a touch of sweetness that balance a measurable addition of spicy German hop flavor and light bitterness.

  • Malts: Extra premium Pilsner, Munich I, Carafoam

  • Hops: Galaxy

  • Yeast: W34/70

  • Other: Orange Blossom Honey

The Pairings

Hummus, roasted chicken, shellfish, any pork dish, baklava.
