Description

Yuzu kissed, light and crisp this lager was brewed using Alorra hops to give complimentary sweet peach and melon character to this zest forward beer. Collab with Clearwater Brewing Company.

tHE NAME

This beer was inspired by, and named after the Yewzu lager made at Curley Lewis Brewing in Bondi Beach. We partnered with Clearwater Brewing Co. out of Clearwater, FL (reopening July 2025) to brew this years batch which features only a single hop: Alorra

 

BEER FACT

Traditionally a very pale, highly-carbonated, light-bodied, well-attenuated lager with a very neutral flavor profile and low bitterness. Alorra hops are a new breed of hop (released 2023) with strong Yuzu, sweet peach and melon character.

The Ingredients

  • Malts: Pilsner, pale wheat, and dextrin malts

  • Hops: Alorra

  • Yeast: W34/70

The Pairings

Anything really, but especially light salads, seafood dishes, roasted chicken; ripened cheeses; creamy and fruit/citrus forward desserts
