BEER FACT
This particular style of beer is a uniquely American Style of beer that came out of the microbrewery boom of the late 1980s and is made with at least 50% wheat malt, it’s not as aggressively hopped as its Barleywine counterparts so there’s more wheat smoothness, and any hop can be used since that is not one of the dominant flavors.
The Ingredients
Wheat, Pilsner, Honey Malt, and Honey Malted Oats
The Pairings
Grilled and roasted game meats; sausages of any kind; shellfish; buttery, caramel desserts (pound cake, flan and crème brulee)
